A new player is gaining momentum in today’s mobile industry, a local brand that goes by the name SKK Mobile. Starting only last year, they have opened up stores from Cebu and Davao, spreading throughout provinces and now penetrating Metro Manila. And they’ve come ready, locked and loaded with a wide range of stylish, chic, and smart devices that are within everyone’s reach.
The company is dedicated to providing fast, active service in giving people what they need when they need it. Back then, they have started opening kiosks and used social media and sponsors to gain publicity, and now having concept stores in SM Bacoor and SM North Edsa in The Annex, they’re getting ready to hit it big.
“We can handle the quality directly with the factory, the parts are available and ready, and cost of parts are at factory price,” Tobi Marquez said, Marketing Staff of SKK expressed his thoughts and feelings about SKK.
The designs and planning of their products are all done in the Philippines. They have an office in Hong Kong, which they keep a close contact with to maintain their constant development and production.
As of now, the company has several entry- and feature phones, designed for every target market, for students, elders, young professionals, and even children under five years of age – the Bubble Gum tablet, which has this unique look with a rubberized grip, it is a low-spec device but more than perfect to keep any child entertained. But their spotlight shines on their recent releases of tablets and smartphones, each branded based on the metals they were built with: Titanium, Silver, and Chrome.
We’ve recently received a review unit from them, their high-end dual core smartphone, Titanium. Expect a review from us soon. Oh and what does SKK stand for? They’ve got big plans this year and we can say that SKK is headed off to a good start. They’ve claimed it’s a mystery for us to think about once in a while.
