Drink Water

Head coach and program director of 360 Fitness Club and certified strength and conditioning specialist Chappy Callanta shares the top three New Year’s resolutions to swear by and follow through for 2014.

1. Make sure you are active every day. “Do anything, whether joining a fitness club, playing with your kids, or walking. As long as you are not sitting down.”

2. Drink more water. “If you binge during the holidays, you need to detox. One safe way to do it is with water therapy. It is easy because all you need to do is to drink eight to 10 glasses of water a day.

3. Take fish oil in the morning. “Fish oil holds a lot of good benefits, it is different from the oil that we get from other animal sources. Our diet is high in Omega 6, while what we really need is Omega 3. Fish oil can help give us a healthy heart.”
